Hear the words
Not just the finished photo. The actual thing you say to a couple to get their belly buttons touching and their shoulders down.
See it go wrong
The sun disappears, a pose flops, someone's hair covers their face. Watching us fix it live is the part tutorials never show you.
Steal the whole flow
First awkward minute to last golden-hour frame, in order, so you have a session you can run start to finish on Saturday.
Here's the truth
Stiff photos aren't a camera problem. They're a direction problem. The couple is standing there waiting to be told what to do, and nobody ever taught you what to say.
Luc and I learned that the hard way. We'd studied the craft, we had decent gear, and our couples still looked like they were queuing at a bank. The fix wasn't a better lens. It was learning to talk to people while we shot.
That's the bit nobody films. Tutorials show you the five frames that worked and skip the twenty minutes of coaching that got them there.
So we filmed the twenty minutes. All of it, including the parts where we lost the light and had to start over.
No slides. No script. No second takes.
This is one evening in Walter Baker Park with Mel and Rafi, eight photographers, and a lot of mosquitoes. It's chaptered so you can jump straight to the lift, or the gazebo, or the bit where we talk about asking permission before you pick someone up.
Real students. Real first bookings.
These are photographers who started exactly where you are right now.
Here's what you'll actually watch us do
The Photo Walk: posing couples, start to finish
An hour and twenty minutes, chaptered, free:
✔️ Mixed skin tones, where to place each partner in the light, and why it matters for your portfolio
✔️ The go-to pose we start every session with, and the small corrections that make it work
✔️ Posing versus prompting, and the safe shots we get before we get creative
✔️ Directing a lift safely, and why we ask first
✔️ Picking a spot that looks ugly and shooting something gorgeous anyway
✔️ Working the walk between locations so you stop losing ten good minutes every wedding
Plus, The Ultimate Playbook is included free. Our 10-minute step-by-step guide to booking your first paid wedding, with inquiry templates, a pricing mini-guide and a booking checklist.
The whole workshop, plus the Playbook. Free, and yours to keep.
Nobody lets you watch the whole thing.
Most posing tutorials show you the highlight reel. This is the entire session, including the retakes and the cloud that killed the light. That's the part that teaches you something.
Imagine walking into your next session knowing exactly what to say
Not guessing. Not hoping they figure it out. Just running a flow you've already watched work, start to finish.
